Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) 

VSAC, through the federal GEAR UP grant and other Career and Education Outreach programs provides career and college readiness resources and information; support and planning for students and parents; along with professional development, resources and curriculum planning for educators and guidance. VSAC & GEAR UP also provide the opportunity for schools to work with consultants to align school improvement and academic standards with career and college readiness goals.  Currently GEAR UP works in schools across Vermont providing one-one student career & college planning support (based on need); whole grade, and school career and college planning, plus work with schools and districts to help build a strong culture of career and college readiness. Vermont School Boards Insurance Trust (VSBIT) 

VSBIT serves Vermont schools by assisting members in the area of risk management so as to protect and conserve educational resources.  We serve member schools by operating a property and casualty program (Multi-Line), an unemployment program, and the school management resource center (SMRC). Invest Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a member benefit paid for by the Vermont Education Health Initiative (VEHI).
