motion by Dave R., second by Buddy, to approve minutes of 10/19/08. Vote - approved unanimously

correspondence – discussion on e-mail from Ed Hockenbury concerning using timeouts during a hockey game. Motion by Dave R., second by Buddy, to “allow one timeout per half beginning in the Fall 2008 season. Timeouts are to be two minutes in length from the time of the call. Timeouts can only be called on your own restarts and may only be called by the coach. One timeout per half, not cumulative. There are to be no timeouts in an overtime situation.” Vote – approved unanimously. Bob J. will include in the 2008 Soccer Guide

discussion on 2007 season. Some concerns expressed over lack of championship sites and travel. Few schools are volunteering to host championships so this is becoming difficult to schedule. We will continue to look at possible college sites. All else went well

2008 NFHS rule changes – 1) illegal vs. improper (coach now gets a yellow card in an illegal situation, additional cards go directly to players), 2) NOCSE stamp now required for shin guards, 3) mouth guard issue (no action taken).
